Tudor City NOIR

Film noir ‒ the edgy, moody movie genre ‒ is the inspiration for this post, a look at the noir side of Tudor City. Brought to you by some very talented Instagrammers.

  1. Most of the windows in Tudor City that face the UN are building hallway windows, and not apartment windows. It was purposely done that way so tenants did not view the slaughterhouse. I had two relatives that lived in TC in the 1930's and 1940's. Later I knew two friends that lived there in the 1970's and 1980's. Today I know one person that lives in TC.
