 Welcome back to the New Yorker, this week represented by an ad that ran in its May 13, 1933 issue and was written from a decidedly feminine viewpoint:



The answer to the question of where to live is settled once and for all by moving to Tudor City. "I'm crazy about last minute dates, Bob, and I have loads of time," the lady murmurs. "Tudor City is convenient, isn't it?" he replies.
